Remember these things? I would get them from relatives who knew I collected and they drove me crazy. They barely worked, and I hated the lenticular surface. Here’s the earliest example I have of one in my collection, Hubie Brooks from 1987 (all of these come courtesy of Jason):

Conclusion: they seem to have gotten better as the years went on, but I still find them kind of distasteful. Not sure why. But it is neat to have them in my collection.
