2003 Flair Greats: Andre Dawson & Gary Carter

I loved this set when it was issued; it’s a shame there aren’t more Expos in the set.

I like the design, but they could have gone with a better photo.

Cool shot of the Kid. Love the background as well.

  1. Love this set too. Gary Carter always seems to take a good picture.

  2. Love the Hawk card! I think it’s a great picture, at least you know he hit the pitch. I hate when they show the batter swinging, but it is obvious the hitter missed the pitch. They didn’t make a Tim Raines card in this series?

Yeah, you have a point, actually. If there is a Raines, I haven’t been able to find it yet. Surprised me too, actually. I don’t think Rock gets the respect he deserves.

      • No he doesn’t. I wished he would get voted into the Hall at the same time as Andre. That would be something special.

Would you mind adding my blog under your baseball sites? I am trying to raise more awareness on how great Andre was. I would return the favor.

Will do, as soon as I get a chance. I’ve checked out your site a few times and dug it!
