Nationals Stars: Jose Vidro #6

Vidro Pro Sigs

2004 UD Diamond Pro Sigs #15
How Did I Get It?:
Bought a box of Pro Sigs in 2004.
Did You Know?: There were two parallel sets for Pro Sigs – Silver and Gold.
Rating: 5/10 – I liked Pro Sigs when it first came out, at least enough to try to collect the set, but the luster has definitely worn off. The design is just way too busy and covers up half the photograph.

Vidro Hernandez

2005 Upper Deck #278
How Did I Get It?:
Bought a back of 2005 Upper Deck.
Did You Know?: Jose Vidro and Livan Hernandez anchored the Nationals’ first year in Washington.
Rating: 7/10 – The design is a bit wonky, but I love the color coordination.

Vidro Prestige

2004 Playoff Prestige #112
How Did I Get It?:
From a Playoff Prestige blaster box.
Did You Know?: This set had an absolutely absurd FOUR parallel sets: Black, Green, Purple, and Red.
Rating: 6/10 – Yeah, the design gets in the way of the card, but I like the design in general. The colors are appealing for some reason.

Vidro 05 Donruss

2005 Donruss #249
How Did I Get It?:
A 2005 Donruss blaster box.
Did You Know?: Donruss made 72 different Jose Vidro cards in 2005. Holy frijole!
Rating: 8/10 – 2005 Donruss’ base set had a really appealing design. This one is no exception.
